Me and my friend Selina made fish out of harakeke/flax, to represent Waikato and the water of it. I also made a flax flower with lots of layers and a speckled pattern.

For this task we commented on blogs using kind words because they can make someone’s day. It is always nice to see comments on small student blogs like this, and it makes you, and the reciever feel good about their learning and efforts.

Last week, Glen Taylor celebrated Tongan Language week. On Friday, there was a showcase of a kava ceremony, dances, and a big feed. Many people came to visit. It was fun and the food was tasty.

On Friday Team Tui and people from Glen Innes ran in Fun Run from Pakuranga to St Kentigerns college. I was in Top Girls group but I managed to catch up to other people from previous groups. It was about 3 kilometers in length which made me really tired, but there was a sausage sizzle feed and water at the end.

What is the probability of picking a green block? There are four green blocks but there are 20 blocks in total. In fractions, it is 4/20 (Chance of event/total number of outcomes) In percentages, it is 20% or in a simplified fraction, 1/5. (The picture of the blocks doesn’t have 20 but it’s easier)
